I’ve been trying to do everything right. Wrote up a will, bought life insurance (on me), saved up for retirement, etc. My house took a 30% drop in price and my portfolio took 15% hit, but all is in my planned scenario, and I’m still very much financially sound. But this news hit me bad. I’m completely lost and not sure how or whether I can handle it.We’re in our early 40’s. So far I hold on to my job and have a PPO insurance. A teenager in junior high. I didn’t tell him yet and not sure if I should, or how..
Any advice would be greatly appreciated regarding dealing with insurance / my teenager / my job / boss.
